Two quests down. Two to go. And the next move could be his last.
Two quests down. Two to go. And the next move could be his last. Rich Witz is halfway to becoming a Paladin, but the hardest trials still lie ahead. His Nemesis has already revealed a terrifying level of power, and Rich barely survived their last encounter. Now the clock is ticking. With only days remaining, Rich must complete his final two tests of valor while preparing for a confrontation he may not be ready to win. Because this is more than a challenge. It is a fight for his life, his family, and the future of the Paladin order. And his enemy is closer than ever. Somewhere inside his school, hidden behind a familiar face, the dark knight in training is watching, waiting, and planning his next move. Rich’s list of suspects keeps growing, but so does the danger. One wrong guess could cost him everything. Guided by the spirit of his ancestor and pushed to his limits, Rich must decide if he truly has what it takes to become a knight… before time runs out.
Perfect for readers who love:
• Middle grade fantasy with suspense and high stakes
• Hidden identities and mystery-driven plots
• Chess-inspired strategy and magical challenges
• Clean, fast-paced adventure for ages 10–14
For fans of Percy Jackson, The Unwanteds, and action-packed fantasy where every move matters. The final tests are here. The enemy is near. And this is one game he cannot afford to lose.
