I’m thrilled to have received a full manuscript request from the publisher interested in Starduster. Though, “thrilled” is probably too mild a word for it. But I will say, I am glad I didn’t lose my patience and continue self-publishing it—waiting for them, it would seem, has yielded its own rewards. The managing editor also went as far as to state that this story is a “strong candidate” in their final selection. This means the story is strong enough for them to consider, though there is still the chance they will pass on publishing it. If they pass, then I’ll proceed with self-publishing it.

Ironically, another concern of mine is that if they do decide to publish it, will they want to keep the cover art I purchased or will they want their own…higher quality problems, I guess. 😀
